In 2024, Simply People Heroes funded 211 microloans through our partner FNTE—empowering 211 women in Burkina Faso to launch their own businesses.
Those women turned opportunity into action. They built businesses, sustained their families, sent their children to school, and began transforming their communities—all with the support and training provided by FNTE.
In March 2025, the 211 women paid their loans forward, giving 211 more entrepreneurs the same opportunity they once received.
In 10 years, more than 2,000 lives will be transformed all because one ripple began.
With a simple $100 investment, these women become entrepreneurs and heroes as that investment ripples forward, year after year.

Feeding Nations Through Education (FNTE), facilitates all microloan training and the foundational processes necessary for women entrepreneurs to launch businesses in Burkina Faso, Africa.
Thanks to FNTE's efforts in the field to support women and their businesses, every Simply People-funded entrepreneur has successfully paid their investment forward, creating a powerful ripple effect of sustainable change.
More than 2,691 women have received the basic business training from FNTE to become financially independent, with nearly a 100% pay-it-forward rate.
