Thank you for supporting Simply People! Simply Water, Inc. DBA Simply People (Simply People) is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your generosity empowers our global partners to create lasting impact through sustainable initiatives and compassionate action.

Use of Funds

Every dollar you give creates impact: 100% of your donation directly supports and empowers our partners on the ground who are creating lasting change around the world.

To keep that promise, our operational and administrative costs are funded separately, ensuring that your entire donation fuels ripples of transformation and impact. We also cover all payment processing fees—unless you choose to help by adding that amount to your donation.

While we make every effort to honor donor preferences, Simply People reserves the right to direct funds where they are most needed.

Authorization to Charge

When you donate to Simply People (the public name for Simply Water, Inc., a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit), you authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method. One-time gifts are charged immediately; recurring gifts are charged on the schedule you choose until you cancel. You represent that you’re authorized to use the chosen payment method and that the information you provide is accurate.

Donations and Receipts

All donations made to Simply People are final and non-refundable, except in cases of clear error (such as duplicate transactions or incorrect amounts). Donors will receive an automatic receipt by email once the transaction is successfully processed.
If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 15 days at [email protected].

Recurring Donations

When you choose a recurring donation, your payment method is charged automatically according to your selected frequency.
You may modify or cancel your recurring donation at any time, effective for future charges. Please allow 2 business days for changes to take effect. If a scheduled charge is already being processed, it may complete. To cancel or update details, follow the link in your donation receipt or contact us at [email protected].

Secure Payment Processing

All donations are securely processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor.
Simply People does not store your full credit card or bank information.
Your payment data is encrypted and handled directly by Stripe. Stripe may collect and process personal and payment data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

Tax Deductibility

Simply People (Simply Water, Inc. DBA Simply People) is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3)nonprofit organization.
All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law. Unless we state otherwise on your receipt, no goods or services were provided in exchange for your gift.
You will receive an email receipt immediately after your donation. Please retain this as your official record for tax purposes.

Refunds and Errors

If you believe your card has been charged in error or you wish to request a refund for a duplicate or incorrect transaction, please contact us within 15 days of the transaction at [email protected].
Refunds are issued only in cases of verified error or duplicate donation.

Currencies, Fees, and Totals

Donations are processed in U.S. Dollars (USD) unless stated otherwise. If you opt to add an amount to help cover processing fees, that added amount is included in your donation total and will appear on your receipt.

Privacy

We respect your privacy and only collect and use your information to process donations, issue receipts, and communicate with you about your impact. We do not sell donor data. You can unsubscribe from non-transactional emails at any time. For more details, please see our Privacy Policy.

Communication Consent

By providing your email address (and optional phone number), you consent to receive donation receipts and related communications. You can unsubscribe from marketing updates via the link in our emails.

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive occasional SMS messages from Simply People. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.

Chargebacks and Disputes

If there’s a problem, please contact us first—we can usually resolve issues quickly. Filing a chargeback may delay resolution and can increase costs for the mission.
