Empowered to Thrive: 211 Stories of Change

In 2024, our Simply People Heroes funded 211 FNTE microloans to help our partner change the lives of women and their families in Burkina Faso, Africa. 211 new businesses were launched in March 2024 and dreams were made reality! These new businesses allowed the 211 women to sustain their families, send their children to school, and create new opportunities in their communities. FNTE provided the guidance and training necessary to assure the success of the microloan recipients. 

In March 2025, these women will become heroes for the next entrepreneurs in need of a hand-up. In 10 years, 2,110 businesses will be started, women will be empowered, and families will be supported all because of these 211 microloans in 2024.
